something took a bite of me
something took a bite of me
and made off with it
i can’t remember what is missing
but i dream
the edges of its absence
something took a bite of me
and made off with it
i can’t remember what is missing
but i dream
the edges of its absence
About thirty somethings took bites of me last week — nearly made me ill! My legs still look like they are recovering from an attack. I did not dream anything about it. See how your mind travels to places mine never will? Bravo!

Lol!!! I feel that too! Haven’t the mosquitos been unusually prolific this summer? I think I’ve set a personal record for bites in one day

I wonder if we all feel this sometimes… if it’s just to do with growing up, growing older, when those things which once seemed magical, become commonplace, or when we realise we haven’t climbed trees for a long time and probably never will again. Whatever the cause, Sarah, your description is eloquent.
