The beauty of blundering is that (at least occasionally) we don’t know we’ve done it for a very long time, years sometimes. The blissfully blind blunder, you could call it, the advantage of which is that we are spared the usual self-beating (at the time) and by the grace of God sometimes these things actually work out! Our missteps can right themselves without our interference! Likewise, however, we often “step well” and have absolutely no clue of the joy, hope, benefit, relief or comfort that we bring to the table, no idea how many things — without our involvement — would not be as good, as healthy, as balanced as they are (the George Bailey syndrome). Have no doubt, Sarah, that you do far more good than you will ever know.
